Welcome to the blog! Case Garden is winding down and letting summer take over. There are no organized events from now until September. Our next calendar will be published in August. My first ever post, may it not be my last!

Surprise! I finally made it on here, now lets get down to business. Spring is right around the corner and we are getting busy with activities at Case Garden. We could use a lot more help but we are pleased to have several different groups coming into the garden in March and April to help with clean up, projects, planting, seeding and sprucing things up for all to enjoy. I continue to field through lots of potential leads for more help so lets all keep our fingers crossed. So far, the following groups will be coming out to help us:
  • Junior Civitan’s of the Academy of Tucson Schools
  • MOMS Club Tucson East
  • Rita Ranch Troop 114 Girl Scouts
  • Boy Scout Den 3, Troop 186
  • Tanque Verde Lutheran Preschool Giraffes
I need to keep this short since this is my first and I am hoping I post it and not accidentally delete it. When I get this all down expect pictures..lots of pictures! Talk to you soon :-)

Case Garden is a community learning and fun garden which is managed and cared for by the Case Garden Moms & Tots and other volunteer community groups and individuals. We are located on the East side of Tucson, Arizona, USA We are host to many fun and free events for all ages so please visit our calendar and see what is coming up next. Our garden has a variety of types of plants; beautiful flowers, herbs, fruits. It is not broken up by plots like a typical community garden. Our garden is a constant learning and fun place where we gather to grow lots of different edible and non edible plants for their beauty and to use them in a variety of crafts or even in some recipes! We encourage other groups to join up with us on one of our many projects to beautify and maintain this special place. If your group would be interested in adopting an area to maintain please contact our garden coordinator at ButterflyGarden@cox.net All gardeners new or seasoned, young or old are always welcome and encouraged to join us during our community events. It takes a lot of help to maintain the garden and promote our events so we are always looking for new volunteers of all ages to lend a hand.
